Grain Guardian - Smart Solutions for Grain Management

Grain Guardian

Grain Guardian

Grain Guardian is a wireless system that delivers grain storage information to your mobile or desktop devices every 5 minutes, allowing you to turn on your fans remotely. No more driving to your bins to plug them in. Now you can access your critical grain storage information wherever you work, live, or play. When grain begins to spoil, insects and mold grow inside the goods being stored, the respiration rate increases exponentially. Temperature changes of 5.5°C (10°F) or more each week are a reliable sign that food within the bin is spoiling. Due to chemical changes in stored grain, respiration also generates extra moisture, which the adjacent stored grain absorbs. The grain may also drink the water that condenses on the sidewalls and roof of the bin. This rise in grain moisture levels needs to be overseen because it may cause mold and hot spots to form. Grain Guardian helps to increase profits by maximizing quality, reducing loss, and minimizing shrinkage. Manage your grain with confidence.

You have the power of big data and Artificial Intelligence in the palm of your hand with an easy-to-use interface.

Humidity

Humidity Sensor

Humidity Sensor monitors humidity levels. When conditions are a concern, alerts are sent immediately via voice call, email, or text message.

Temperature Sensor

When temperature and conditions are a concern, alerts are sent immediately via voice call, email, or text message.

CO2

CO2 Sensor

Controlling post-harvest mold and insect infestations during storage remains a challenge worldwide. Early detection of insect and fungal spoilage during grain storage is essential to keep grains from spoiling and at levels that do not affect their economic value. CO2 is an excellent indicator of the onset of grain spoilage and serves as a “real-time” indicator. Normal background CO2 is 400 - 600 ppm, depending on bin size; you can “smell” bad grain around 1200 ppm.

Level Monitoring
